With over 25 years’ experience in HR and college recruiting expertise, I’ve made it my mission to share industry secrets to help recent college graduates confidently step into their dream careers. I founded Lime Rock Career Co. out of my passion for helping others achieve a thriving career and desirable future.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University, I pursued my Certificate in Strategic HR from Cornell.
I’ve interned and worked in the professional realm for world-class brands such as Walt Disney, McDonald’s, Gap, and Old Navy.
Now, when I’m not equipping people for their careers, I love trying out restaurants (Mexican is my absolute favorite) and exploring new places with family and friends. I live in San Antonio with my husband and two amazing sons.

Lime Rock is taken after the name of a lighthouse in Newport, Rhode Island. This lighthouse was famously kept by a woman named Ida Lewis. Ida excelled at her trade and quickly earned the respect of the nation, due to her heroic life-saving efforts.
At the time, it was virtually unheard of for women to work outside the home, yet Ida was not only able to secure an official lighthouse keeper appointment, but she was also the highest paid lighthouse keeper in the nation at the time.
What makes Ida's story so remarkable and captures the spirit of our brand perfectly, is how well it represents the idea that one can have a career and life that brings joy and fulfillment. It is our mission to carry on that spirit through our career guidance and support services.
